UNFOLD 2026 Showcases UDIT’s Next Generation of Creative Talent

The University of Design, Innovation & Technology (UDIT) brought together some of the biggest names in design, fashion, architecture and business for UNFOLD 2026, its annual Graduate Show, celebrating the creativity, innovation and interdisciplinary thinking of the graduating batch. Held over two days, the showcase highlighted student work across Fashion Design, Fashion Communication, Communication Design, Interior Architecture & Design, Fashion Business Management and Foundation Design through exhibitions, industry interactions, panel discussions, fashion presentations and award ceremonies. As featured in The Tribune, UNFOLD 2026 reflected UDIT’s practice-led approach to education, where students tackle contemporary challenges through creativity, research and collaboration. The showcased projects explored themes including sustainability, social impact, emerging technologies, urban futures and experiential storytelling, demonstrating how design can create meaningful solutions for an evolving world.
The event welcomed an accomplished line-up of industry leaders and creative practitioners, including Sunil Sethi, Chairman of the Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI); celebrated fashion designer Tarun Tahiliani; Vimarsh Razdan, Co-Founder & CEO of Underneat; architect Sushant Verma of rat[LAB]; filmmaker Faiza Khan; art director Mainak Das; Raunaq Singh, AVP – Creative Design at Naukri.com; Urvashi Gupta, Head of Account Management, South Asia at WGSN; photographer Charudutt Chitrak; and architect Ashok B. Lall, among others. Their participation provided graduating students with valuable industry perspectives while reinforcing UDIT’s strong emphasis on industry-integrated learning.
A key highlight of the showcase was its series of department-led panel discussions and graduate awards, recognising exceptional student work across communication campaigns, animation films, branding systems, UX/UI experiences, spatial design, sustainable fashion, retail concepts and business-driven design strategies. The conversations encouraged students to engage critically with the evolving expectations of the creative industries while celebrating projects that combined innovation with cultural, social and environmental relevance.
